The Tuck consortium on Innovation and Globalization (starting 2012) consist of world-class Indian companies who are focussed on innovation and globalization. The program combines residential sessions in US (Tuck's campus), India and potentially a global market (e.g. China or South Korea). Core to the program delivery is Tuck's philosophy of experiential learning (action learning design) and the "teachable point of view".
A key program objective is "Reverse Innovation" – how can Indian companies create a culture that embraces innovation to drive growth in India but that can also enhance export opportunities to other markets.
Prof. Vijay Govindarajan, recognized as one of today’s leading business strategists was designated among the Top 10 Professors in Corporate Executive Education, BusinessWeek; Top 5 Most Respected Executive Coaches on Strategy, Forbes; and one of the Thinkers 50, the first-ever global ranking of management gurus, in November 2007. He was the Chief Innovation Officer at GE, where he worked with their CEO Mr. Jeff Immelt.
The Consortium will be similar in structure to the hugely successful program: "Global Leadership 2030", that has been run at Tuck for the past 12 years.
