  • Paul Ingram

    Paul Ingram

    Faculty Director

    Paul Ingram earned his PhD from Cornell University, and he was on the faculty of Carnegie Mellon University before coming to Columbia. His research has been published in more than sixty articles, book chapters and books. Ingram’s current research examines the intersection between culture and social networks. He has consulted on issues of organizational design and strategy to leading companies in diverse industries.

The program’s four-week curriculum is delivered in New York — offered in four consecutive weeks or in two 2-week modules — is highly integrated and designed to maximize linkages across three key themes: leading authentically, thinking strategically and executing dynamically.

What are the learning outcomes of this program?

The Advanced Management Program equips executives to face the rapidly changing environment of today's economy with cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and insights from Columbia Business School faculty, practitioners, and coaches. During each session throughout the four weeks, participants address issues pertinent to current conditions while taking a long-term perspective essential to developing effective leadership abilities to drive organizational success.

How can I apply for this program?

Applicants to the Advanced Management Program need to submit 2 essays, 2 professional references and personal information along with an updated resume or LinkedIn profile. There is no application fee for this program but there is a video interview with a Columbia Business School representative, in order to be considered for the program.
