    V. “Paddy” Padmanabhan is the Unilever Chaired Professor of Marketing, INSEAD-Singapore. Prior to joining INSEAD, he was the John K. and Ellen A. Wallace Distinguished Professor of Marketing at the Olin School of Business, Washington University (1998–2002) and Associate Professor of Marketing and Fletcher Jones Faculty Fellow at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University (1990–1998).

    Professor of Entrepreneurship

    Professor Vissa’s research interests focus on entrepreneurship in Asian emerging economies. His research seeks to understand how entrepreneurial firms and teams in Asia build effective networks – in the context of traditional family businesses (called business groups) as well as stand alone new ventures. His research has received numerous awards and his articles have appeared in journals such as Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings, Strategic Management Society’s book series and Strategic Management Journal.

What is ILPSE?

The INSEAD Leadership Programme for Senior Executives - India (ILPSE) is a one year, part-time, multi-modular, General Management and Leadership programme with immersions across INSEAD’s global campuses. The programme has an outstanding peer group and grants Alumni status to participants.

Who should do the ILPSE programme?

ILPSE is aimed at leadership development for participants from senior functional roles to general/senior management roles; or for those who are already in general management positions. Participants come from diverse backgrounds and have an average of 16 years’ experience.

What is the Return on Investment on enrolling in ILPSE?

While the INSEAD leadership programme does not guarantee that a participant’s compensation will increase once they graduate from the programme, ILPSE alumni have self-reported a 30-40% increase in remuneration through internal and external career transitions.

What are the various modules of ILPSE?

INSEAD Leadership Programme for Senior Executives academic component is structured around three types of modules: general management and leadership oriented modules leading to integrated learning of leadership related skills and behaviours; functional modules and advanced functional modules. In addition, participants will complete optional online coursework covering basic financial concepts.

How can I improve my chances of getting into the programme?

Applying in earlier rounds help your chances of being accepted into the leadership programme. Acceptance rates drop by 50-60% in rounds 3 and 4 due to the limited capacity of the programme.
