Wharton’s Advanced Management Program — India

Senior executives choose Wharton’s Advanced Management Program — India (AMP)  to amplify their business acumen and hone their leadership capabilities. Over six–months, a select cohort of about 55 executives are immersed in a rigorous, experiential, transformative program that becomes a defining moment in their personal and professional lives. The Advanced Management Program — India is for executives who are ready to take a bold next step to accelerate the trajectory of their careers. This program is designed for multidimensional executives with substantial leadership experience who seek a transformational learning experience that provides an opportunity for deeply personal self-assessment.     Michael Useem is the William and Jacalyn Egan Professor of Management and Director of the Center for Leadership and Change Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His university teaching includes MBA and executive-MBA courses on management and leadership, and he offers programs on leadership and governance for managers.

Wharton's Advanced Management Program - India is a 6-month, immersive and transformational multi-modular Ivy League learning journey for senior executives to amplify their business acumen and hone their leadership capabilities. The program grants full Alumni status upon completion.

Who should attend this program?

Wharton's Advanced Management Program – India is designed for senior-level executives who have at least 20 years of management experience and are within two reporting relationships of the C-suite or executive committee in their organizations.

Where is the program held?

Wharton AMP – India is held at the Wharton Campus (Philadelphia) and in Mumbai. Participants are required to visit both locations twice during the course of the program, besides attending virtual sessions.

How is this program different from other programs?

Delivered in partnership with the McNulty Leadership Program, Wharton Advanced Management Program - India blends coursework, coaching, and experiential learning to develop visionary leadership capabilities in individuals. Over the 6-month learning journey, the cohort is immersed in a rigorous, experiential, transformative program that becomes a defining moment in their personal and professional lives. They learn within an optimal environment, working side-by-side with colleagues across industries, developing a global and lifelong network of peers.

Each cohort of Wharton AMP - India comprises of about 55 executives. Applications can be made online and earlier rounds carry a registration benefit of US$5,000 off the program fee.
